Meet the Team: Khanh Le, Senior Actuary

Meet Khanh, whose rare talent to translate data into strategies is only scratching the surface.

When Khanh joined Applied Warranty & Insurance Services, he knew from day one he was among like-minded people. Many companies have smart, talented people working for them, but Khanh’s sense of curiosity and willingness to try new approaches, his need for variety and desire for growth meshed exactly with the team.

Khanh graduated from Swarthmore College with a double major in Engineering and Economics. He has since held various actuarial positions where he became adept in the functions of reserving, research, and pricing. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Since joining Applied Warranty & Insurance Services over a year ago, Khanh has put his past experience and expertise to work pricing and reserving for extended warranties, travel insurance, and specialty lines. “I really enjoy working on a variety of product insurance and service contract lines,” he said. “The nature of the job is very challenging, but I appreciate the diversity of being able to use different approaches to find solutions for so many different types of programs and clients.”

As Applied Warranty & Insurance Services continues to expand into new product and service lines, Khanh sees the potential for his own career growth, supported by the collaborative spirit shared among his colleagues and encouragement from management. “Our team is like a family, where every member is crucial to our overall success,” he commented. “We’re all laser-focused on staying a step ahead of the products and services the market needs and delivering for our clients, and we have the leadership to take us there.”
